The Frog Prince

The German fairy tale, collected by the Brother Grimm in 1812, is considered to be the oldest and most beautiful fairy tale from German speaking regions. A handsome prince is transformed into a lowly frog and the spell can only be broken by a princess. The most well known version of the tale has the princess kiss the frog, but earlier versions have the frog sleep on her pillow to break the spell.
