As 100 businesses across Harrogate now accept the Harrogate Gift Card, the iconic tearoom Bettys, which marks 100 years in the town, has backed the scheme.
Bettys on Parliament Street features on the front of the Gift Card. The cards can be pre-loaded with any value up to £500 and used in participating town centre shops, restaurants, bars, cafes, businesses and attractions.
Bettys Harrogate Branch Manager, Janet Parker, said: “Bettys has been part of the local community in Harrogate for 100 years, and we are aware that in this day and age, when retail is struggling and the high street is in decline, that making it to 100 is no mean feat. Local and independent businesses bring something unique and personal to the local community. John Fox, Chairman of the Harrogate Business Improvement District (BID), said: “Bettys is a fantastic attraction for Harrogate.
