Rapunzel’s Tower
In this German fairy tale, a young girl is imprisoned in a tall tower by a witch. The single window is the only way in or out. The girl, Rapunzel, must let down her long hair as a rope must let down her long hair as a rope that the witch climbs. One day a prince happens upon the tower, drawn to the sound of Rapunzel singing, and the two fall in love and plan their escape from the tower and the witch.
