Two members of team BID are delighted to reach the finals of The Stray Ferret Business Awards this year!
We’re very pleased to announce that Matthew Chapman and Bethany Allen from team BID have both been selected as finalists in this year’s awards.
Our Chief Executive Matthew has been nominated for the ‘Dynamic Leader’ prize, while Bethany, Operations & Projects Executive at the BID, is a finalist in the ‘Employee Appreciation’ category!
Matthew joined the BID after a turbulent and difficult early couple of years in the launching of a Business Improvement District (BID) in Harrogate as it began to gather a negative reputation not only in the town, but the BID community on a national scale. Using his optimism, leadership skills, determination and commitment, Matthew has completely turned the reputation of the BID around, locally, nationally and now internationally, into a well-respected, positive organisation that benefits the town’s business community, visitors and residents.
Meanwhile, Bethany is an invaluable member of the BID team in Harrogate, constantly working for the good of the town. Ever since she joined in the BID more than three and a half years ago, Bethany has always gone above and beyond to support not only the local business community, but the town as a whole.
Matthew and Bethany are both honoured to reach the finals and thank the judges for their consideration.
We can’t wait for the awards ceremony in March to find out the winners… Good luck everyone!
