Hello, and welcome to our July newsletter

As our Floral Summer of Celebration draws to an end, our new Lego trail is launched tomorrow!

Fifteen models are currently being installed in businesses across the town centre, and they are already making local news headline and causing a stir on social media.

July has been a very busy month for the BID team, including watering  the wonderful floral displays ensuring they continue to look their absolute best.

We also had a very successful four days at the Great Yorkshire Show, engaging with visitors and selling the town centre as a must-visit destination to shop, eat and drink.

We have also launched our Report a Crime Online campaign, bene delighted to support a number of events hosted by BID Levy Payers, and entertained visitors with a variety of street entertainers.

I would also like to thank those Levy Payers who completed the survey. The results will be published next month.

If you have any comments/suggestions, them please do get in touch.

Yours sincerely

Sara

Harrogate Gift Card welcomes 100th participating business

Allertons Hair and Beauty Salon, located on Montpellier Street, has become the 100th business to join our popular Harrogate Gift Card scheme.

These cards can be pre-loaded with any value up to £500, which can be spent in participating shops, bars, restaurants and other businesses, helping to boost the town centre economy.

Harrogate BID Manager Matthew Chapman said: “I’d like to say a big hello to Allertons Hair and Beauty who become our 100th participating Harrogate Gift Card business partner.

“It’s fantastic having them onboard, and means the choice of services that can be paid for by one of the Harrogate Gift Cards has just got wider.

“The cards can’t be redeemed online, so it means those in possession of one has to come into town, which is great news for businesses, and even better news for the town centre economy.”
