Harrogate residents are invited to shop sustainably while supporting a local charity at a special pre-loved fashion event this July.
Positive Influence Agency has partnered with Artizan International to host a Rail Sale at Artizan Café on Wednesday, 22nd July, bringing together sustainable fashion, community connection and fundraising.
The event will give visitors the opportunity to browse a selection of high-quality pre-loved clothing and accessories from local sellers, while enjoying drinks and refreshments in the welcoming surroundings of Artizan Café.
All ticket sales from the evening will be donated directly to Artizan International, helping support the charity’s work creating opportunities for adults with learning disabilities through training, employment, creativity and meaningful community connections.
Chelsea Talbot, Founder of Positive Influence Agency, said:
“This event is about bringing people together while supporting an incredible local charity. Whether you’re shopping for a wardrobe refresh, selling pieces you no longer wear, or simply coming along to enjoy the atmosphere, every ticket purchased helps support the life-changing work Artizan does with adults with learning disabilities.
“We’re really looking forward to welcoming the community for a feel-good evening with purpose at its heart.”
Located in Harrogate town centre, Artizan Café is a training café supporting more than 30 young adults with learning disabilities each week, helping them to develop workplace skills, confidence and independence through real-life experience.
Liz Cluderay, Chief Executive Officer of Artizan International, said:
“We’re thrilled to be working alongside Positive Influence Agency on this exciting community event.
“At Artizan, we are committed to helping adults with learning disabilities and Neurodiversity to gain new skills, grow in confidence, and strengthen their sense of belonging within the local community.
“Events such as this play an important role in generating essential support for our programmes, while also creating opportunities for people to come together and share positive experiences. We look forward to welcoming guests to the café and making it a truly memorable evening.”
The Rail Sale offers two ticket options, with shopping tickets available for £5 and rail spaces available for £15 for those wanting to sell their own pre-loved clothing and accessories.
The event takes place at Artizan Café on Wednesday 22nd July, with sellers setting up from 6pm and shopping ticket holders welcomed from 6.30pm.
