Harrogate BID is delighted to be partnering once again with Harrogate Town A.F.C. to support local businesses through an exciting new Town Rewards initiative, giving fans the chance to win Harrogate Gift Cards at home matches.
As part of the ongoing Town Rewards scheme, Harrogate Town has launched a new half-time Crossbar Challenge at the Exercise Stadium, offering supporters the opportunity to win Harrogate Gift Cards courtesy of Harrogate BID.
Starting with the club’s home fixture against Bromley on Saturday, 21st February, one lucky fan at each remaining home game this season will be selected at random to take a shot from the edge of the penalty area at half-time. Successfully hitting the crossbar will win the participant a Harrogate Gift Card, which can be spent at nearly 100 local shops, restaurants and businesses across the town centre, including the Harrogate Town club shop.
The prize fund will start at £100 and will roll over by £100 for each game where the crossbar is not struck, meaning the jackpot could reach up to £700 across the remaining fixtures. Once the challenge is successfully completed, the prize will reset to £100 for the following match.
Bethany Allen, Operations Manager at Harrogate BID, said:
“It is fantastic to be partnering with Harrogate Town again through their Town Rewards programme. This is a brilliant initiative that rewards loyal supporters while also supporting local businesses. We are delighted the Harrogate Gift Card has been chosen as the prize, helping to ensure the scheme benefits both the town’s economy and the wider business community.”
The challenge is open to all Harrogate Town supporters aged 14 and over who hold a valid match ticket. Fans only need to register once to be entered into the draw for each remaining home game this season, with selected participants notified ahead of matchday.
Harrogate Gift Cards form part of Harrogate BID’s ongoing work to support the local economy by encouraging residents and visitors to spend with independent and national businesses across the town.
Supporters can enter via the Harrogate Town AFC website for their chance to take part.
