Harrogate BID are excited to once again be partnering with the Rotary Club of Harrogate to organise and judging the Christmas shop window competition for 2023, which entries are now open for.
The business organisation plans to add to the vibrancy in the town centre over the festive period with the competition. Harrogate BID hopes to exceed the record number of entries from last year and make Harrogate the place to be this Christmas.
Participating businesses will have up until 8am on Tuesday 28th November to dress their windows, taking into consideration three key elements that the judges will be looking for; illumination, innovation and the Spirit of Christmas.
Shortlisting will take place on Tuesday 28th November and the judging will take place on the afternoon of Thursday 30th November at 3:30pm.
In each category, there will be a winning window and there may also be a highly commended window. The awards evening will be held on Thursday 7th December.
Matthew Chapman, Harrogate BID Manager said: “The Christmas Shop Window Competition is one that our members always look forward to and we are really pleased to be partnering with the Rotary Club of Harrogate for the third year running.”
“Alongside the Christmas lights, which the BID fully fund, the Christmas Fayre and other attractions in the town, we feel that the competition really adds to the Christmas offer and creates a great first impression to both visitors and residents coming into town over the festive period.”
If you are a town centre business and would like to enter the competition or find out more information, please email email@example.com. As the number of entries is limited, these will be accepted on a first come, first served basis.
