What time does the event start and finish?

The event will begin at 10am and finish at 4pm.

Where will the Harrogate Dog Show take place?

The event will take place at the Victoria Shopping Centre Piazza, which is located on Station Parade, Harrogate, HG1 1AE.

Is there parking at the event?

There is no parking at the event, however there are plenty of car parks in Harrogate town centre which you can find here Harrogate Parking | Car Parks – Visit Harrogate.

How do I register/enter my dog?

Registration will open at 10am on Saturday 13th April at the Victoria Shopping Centre, in person for each dog show class. Please note that places are limited and will be on a first come, first served basis.

Do I have to pay to enter?

No, the Harrogate Dog Show is completely free to attend or enter (including classes, mini dog park and the dog training workshops).

Can my dog be off lead?

We ask that all dogs must be kept on leads at all times, regardless if they are in the arena and that owners control their dogs.

Will there be dog facilities provided?

We will provide water bowls and poo bags but we do ask that you clean up after your dogs.

What extreme weather provisions are there?

In the unlikely event of extreme weather, Harrogate BID will make the call if it isn’t suitable for the event to go ahead and this will be announced on our social media channels.

There will be water available for the dogs on the day, however owners should make extra provisions for any eventuality.

Can I attend the Harrogate Dog Show without a dog?

Of course! It is set to be a great day for the public and dog fanatics alike!

Who participates in the 'Best in Show' class?

The winning dog from each class will automatically be entered into the ‘Best in Show’ class.

Will there be a vet on site?

There won’t be a vet on site, but Harrogate BID will have a list of contact details if an emergency arises.

My dog is on the dangerous dogs list, can I still attend/enter with my dog?

Yes, but please ensure all relevant Government rules and regulations are adhered to.

How many spaces are there per class?

There are 12 spaces in each class, registration is open from 10am on the day for all classes and will be on a first come first served basis.
