Terms and Conditions of Ticket Sales

When purchasing tickets online, you agree to the following conditions of sale, on behalf of yourself and all members of your party:

  1. It is the responsibility of the customer to check all booking details are correct for the tickets/ items being sold at the time of purchase.
  2. All transactions are subject to a £1.75 booking fee.
  3. Tickets may not be exchanged or refunded unless in the case of an event cancellation.
  4. Harrogate BID may reserve the right to refuse admission to the premises.
  5. Harrogate BID reserve the right to offer alternative event to those stated on the tickets.
  6. Harrogate BID reserve the right to make alterations to the programme as become necessary including event cancellations without notice or being liable to pay any compensation.
  7. Out of courtesy to both performers and audiences, latecomers the Father Christmas Experience may not be admitted until a suitable break in the performance, which may not be until the first interval.
  8. Harrogate BID and permitted third parties may carry out general filming, recording or photography about the premises for promotional or archival purposes. You consent to you and your party appearing in such recordings without prior notice or payment.
  9. It is the responsibility of the customer to abide by any bag policies that the venue may have in place. Failure to do so may mean that you are unable to enter the venue – Harrogate BID will not be liable to pay any compensation or refund any ticket costs in the case of refused admission.
  10. Once the customer has purchased their tickets online, they will be sent via email. Please bring along this email to the event (on a device or printed). We recommend arriving 30 minutes before the event is due to start.
  11. Attendees with Disabilities: The venue has wheelchair access at the entrance and throughout, if you need any special assistance, please call the box office.

Force Majeure

  1. Harrogate BID, The Crown Hotel, Enchantica’s or Harrogate International Festivals will not be liable for any failure of or delay in the performance of this agreement if the failure or delay is beyond reasonable control of a party and could not reasonably have been foreseen or provided against. Full refunds will be issued in this case.

COVID19 Additional Terms and Conditions

  1. These additional Covid19 Terms and Conditions are in addition to our Terms and Conditions of Sale and apply to all tickets purchased for Harrogate’s Father Christmas Experience
  2. These additional Covid19 Terms and Conditions should be read in conjunction with and are incorporated into our Terms and Conditions of Sale

COVID19 Acknowledgement

  1. Before attending the event, attendees must familiarise themselves with and comply with the latest rules and guidance issued by the UK government regarding Covid19 which may change at the time of the event.
  2. Attendees should not attend the Father Christmas Experience if they’re experience any Covid19 symptoms and we advise all attendees to complete a PCR test before attending the event.
  3. By attending the event, all guests are acknowledging their consent to, and agree to abide by, the safety precautions that have been adopted by the venue, which may include (but not limited to) wearing of face coverings, social distancing, and Covid19 status certification checks. Failure to comply with such precautions could result in guest being asked to leave the venue. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any person that refuses to comply with our safety protocols.
  4. The safety measures that are being and have been introduced at the venue are intended to minimise the risk of contracting COVID19 but this risk cannot be completely eradicated. By purchasing a ticket to the event, you are acknowledging that an inherent risk of exposure to Covid19 exists in any public place where people are present, and that you and those in your party voluntary assume all risks related to exposure to Covid19 and agree not to hold Harrogate BID, the venue, event partners or any of their affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, contractors or volunteers liable for any illness or injury. Anyone attending the event acknowledges that they do so at their own risk.

COVID19 financial risk

  1. In line with government guidance, we ask that guests do not attend if they or someone in their party is experiencing Covid19 symptoms.
  2. If you or somebody in your party are unable to attend the event because you are self-isolating following a positive test result for Covid19, you will not be eligible for a refund.
  3. Due to the uncertainty surrounding the global pandemic; if the event can no longer go ahead due to UK government restrictions being imposed, guests will receive a full refund.
