Harrogate BID’s TSCO continues to deliver positive results in his work to support, safeguard and improve Harrogate town centre.
Kiam, who joined the BID in the brand new role introduced in early 2024, has been on hand to deter criminals to help recover thousands of pounds worth of stolen goods.
Working alongside key partners, Kiam acts as the eyes and ears on the ground in a bid to make an effective impact and reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, as well as increasing reporting from the local business community and collating crucial data to assist with campaigns.
Any crimes in the Harrogate area can be reported either on the Police.UK app or by calling the force on 101 or 999.
The Business Improvement District (BID) fully funds the Town Centre Support Officer (TCSO) and two Street Rangers throughout the year to support residents, visitors and the local business community.
The BID and its teams on the street deliver additionality in the North Yorkshire town, on top of the statutory services partners already provide.
If you would like to request a service or contact the TCSO, please email the team on info@harrogatebid.co.uk
