Harrogate BID is pleased to launch a new street dressing campaign with flag bunting celebrating God’s Own County.

The Yorkshire Flag bunting has now been placed along selected streets in the town centre, just in time to celebrate Yorkshire Day today (August 1st).

As the Business Improvement District (BID), we’re proud to represent Harrogate’s businesses as we work hard to ensure it remains the jewel in Yorkshire’s crown. We always want to make sure we take ‘Pride in our Town’ as we work towards achieving our objectives set out in our overall Business Plan.

Bunting is just one aspect of the BID’s eye-catching public realm and targeted campaigns, all aimed at supporting Harrogate’s unique welcome for visitors. Earlier in the year, new bunting displaying the Harrogate Coat of Arms was placed around key locations in the town centre, followed by bunting displaying flags of all of the countries taking part in the European Championships.

The BID team continue to ensure Harrogate is a safe, clean and welcoming place to live, work and visit. They want pride to shine through in the town centre and these additional projects and campaigns strengthen the environment for not only businesses, but visitors and residents too.
