Harrogate BID is looking to work with artists on a creative project to enhance locations within the BID area with street art.

To work towards the BID’s ‘Pride in our Town’ objective, the not-for-profit organisation is calling on creative people to get in touch if they believe they could help to improve Harrogate town centre with themed installations.

One of these areas is a blank wall on the perimeter of The Wesley Chapel, located on Cheltenham Road, as shown on the image below. This area is passed by hundreds of visitors to Harrogate town centre every week, including those using the Jubilee Car Park.

Harrogate BID has identified this as a location that would benefit from artwork that welcomes people into the town – for example ‘Welcome to Harrogate’ in a quirky font along with aspects that represent the town such as water, the floral heritage, wellbeing, afternoon tea and spas.

If you feel this is something you could deliver with Harrogate BID, the team invite you to provide an initial proposal and draft design of the artwork, along with the appropriate fees/costs. Please send this to info@harrogatebid.co.uk no later than April 8th, 2024.

If you would like more information, or would like to have a site visit prior to submitting your proposal, please do not hesitate to get in touch on info@harrogatebid.co.uk
